Round Rock Texas is one of the best places to live for American families, according to a new report by Fortune Magazine.

Round Rock (No. 12) was the only Texas city to make the list for 2023, which is a major improvement from Fortune’s previous report in 2022. While the North Austin suburb didn’t appear in last year’s report, none of the three Texas cities that did made an appearance in the current one: Wylie, Sugar Land, and San Marcos.

Round Rock has a lot going for it in terms of family-friendly opportunities: the city opened its new, three-story public library building in January, and was named one of the best cities for remote workers in 2022.
